Project Discipline

The Multiverse of Being Busy

To keep myself engaged and constantly learning, I move back and forth between multiple disciplines. Rather than focusing on a single path, I enjoy exploring different forms of creativity, research, and problem-solving. Under what I call Project Discipline, my time is currently divided across coding, visual art, type design, calligraphy, lettering, security research, and building my artist and studio portfolio. Each discipline influences the others, creating a continuous cycle of learning, experimentation, and growth. One of the reasons I do this is to keep my mind occupied with meaningful work. Staying busy with projects gives my brain a direction, keeps me curious, and leaves less room for distractions or unnecessary thoughts. It may not solve everything, but keeping myself immersed in creating, learning, and building is the least I can do.

Mental Health & Sleep

I am currently working on fixing my sleep schedule by going to bed earlier and waking up earlier. This is part of Project Discipline and my effort to build healthier daily habits. Better sleep leads to better mental health, more energy, and better days overall. I have been following this routine for the past few days, and the difference has been noticeable. Even though I have not been as productive in other areas recently, improving my sleep feels like a major win and an important step forward.

Phone Detox

I am currently building the habit of using my phone less and minimizing screen time - a complete detox from social media. I started this phone detox on 5/29/2026 (Jestha 15, 2083). This is also part of Project Discipline: focusing on things that actually matter and disconnecting from the noise of the world.

Vibe & Human Coding

I regularly code by hand and sometimes with AI. I experiment with AI and prompts to find better ways to code and create things. I do creative coding using both my own ideas and AI as a tool. This is something I always come back to because I genuinely enjoy it. It is fun to play with code and try to make it do something new. The best thing that has happened under Project Discipline is human and vibe coding.

Visual Artist

I am trying to build a habit around fine arts. I am currently studying fine arts, but being regular with practice is difficult. Lately, however, I have been practicing more than I did a month ago. As part of Project Discipline, I have been getting better at returning to practice consistently, and I hope to keep improving and practicing more. Another habit under construction as a part of Project Discipline.

Physical Health

Since Chaitra, I have been taking regular walks from my hostel to Basantapur. Sometimes I change the route through Thamel, Durbar Marg, or Naxal. This is part of Project Discipline, helping me clear my mind and enjoy the outside world. Now it has become a habit. Sometimes I skip a day, but I can’t resist going again. Another good habit that has happened under Project Discipline.

Security Research

I still occasionally do bug bounty research, not as much as before, but I never completely stopped. I try to stay connected with cybersecurity through testing applications, researching vulnerabilities, and exploring different attack surfaces. Lately, I have also been trying to do CTF challenges more often to keep my problem-solving mindset active. Even after taking breaks, cybersecurity is something I naturally come back to under Project Discipline.
